I know this has been asked to death and am too lazy to do a search. Anyway friend of mine just bought a 64 SS convert chevelle, am wondering what is the quailty of the quarters out on the market? Basically wanting to know the good, bad and ugly.

Anyone out there that has worked with the 64 quarters Id like to hear from ya. Thanks...Eric

The skins I just bought from Goodmark for my '65 rag were a little dinged up, but fit like a glove over the factory sheetmetal. That said, I haven't installed them yet, but they look good so far. HTH,

there are two players in town on 64-65 1/4 skins.. Daynacon and Goodmark.. ones e coated ( Good Mark ) the othe plan steel.. the latter being about the quality od patch panels and the E coated one a step above that.. I have put a number of these guys on.. the mid body line is not crisp. and the outer contures are soft...

They are better than nothing but not by much (reproduction,s) I only use what is needed from the repo quarters. The body line's are not close and the fit is not good. It's best to find some Arizona metal much better fit.

I just bought both quarters from NPD and they look great. Have the body shop putting them on right now and they so far they have had no probs with fit.
