putting a bbc back in 66 ss, car has a sbc now. how can i tell if the correct bb stands are still there, anyone know the part# for the bbc stands? part # for the correct solid motor mount to go with the bbc stands? grovey

Know that sbc and bbc mounts for the 66 look similar. The bb mounts have a raised rib on the curved side ( I know, all the sides are curved, look at pics of both and you'll see the difference). This rib was put there for strength. I think if you measure the height of your mounts and the do a search, you'll get the info you're looking for.
