I have a 96 dodge intrepid v6 that has cylinder 5 misfire that is persistent. AFter changing plugs and wires and using some injector cleaner it is still causing a misfire. Does all this just indicate that the injector is bad? Also it seems to only misfire at below 1000rpms, it runs great at speed, but gets a rough at idle.

If it has the 3.5 v6 I would be looking for a leaking intake gasket.Spray some carb cleaner around the intake and see if it smothes out.
