I received my 7 piece trunk pan set. Before I take it to the body shop to have it installed, should I prime and paint it? I was thinking about doing atleast the body and fuel tank braces. Probably going to use POR-15. Should I do anything, or just let the body shop handle it. I'd like to know for SURE it was atleast done.

Thanks,

I would leave them,it would be easier for the body shop if you left them bare metal,it is much easier to weld in,and they should take care of the priming and painting.

Dont prime or paint it, unless you want them just to rivet it in. Can't weld through por15 or primer. Just clean it up nice, maybee take a light steel wool to it to get redidue of it.
