: 2.2 mm needle too big for K-38 Primmer? zachscc Jan 5th, 04, 2:54 AM The bigger needle for my gun is a 2.2mm I have a 1.4 in it now that shoots it better when I use a little reducer. It would be like brushing it on, it just doesn't atomize it enough. If you can get a 1.6 or at the very most 1.7. But the 1.5 would be as far as I would go. You may need to up the pressure a little but that 1.4 should work. I have sprayed a higher solids urethane primer with a 1.3 and on smaller areas it was fine. zachscc Jan 5th, 04, 3:17 PM Never thought about upping the pressure. :clonk:Like I said I used some reducer 4:1:1/2 and it sprayed great! Nice wet look. How do you know when to stop cranking out the fluid adjust and change to a bigger needle? :confused: | ||
