Purchased a front bumper from Ausley's. Restamp of the 70 Chevelle bumper. Had some minor differences form an original GM. Spoke with Mr Roger Ausley about it, and he said he really couldn't help me out... Have not ordered from them since. I've heard that some har do to find Chevelle parts are available from Ausley's though.

Bought a couple thousand dollars worth of parts from them this year, but all phone orders and picked up at Carlisle, absolutely no problems with them, have dealt with them on and off for 15 years.

Probably get all sorts of opinions so I'll throw mine in. I've had great service from Hinshaw's Chevelle. www.hinshawschevelle.com (http://www.hinshawschevelle.com)

Same parts...some cheaper some not. I've never had a bad fit nor problem with Hinshaw's. No bad experience with Ausley's though but preference as far as customer service goes to Hinshaw's.

I haven't dealt with them either. I have dealt with Gary Harmon's Resotration world in Ohio. Gary has been in this business for many years and has some of the best prices to be found. He is also an authorized dealer for Goodmark body parts.

Their web site is at www.chevroletrestorationworld.com (http://www.chevroletrestorationworld.com)

Ground Up is fine. Not perfect, but I've never had trouble with them. Just be sure and speak to Ken when you call them.

Some people get upset because they don't get catalogs out right away. But they've solved that problem nicely now. Their complete catalog is on their website in Adobe .pdf format. http://www.ss396.com

That's a lot better than most other suppliers have on the web.

I ordered some stuff from Ausley's a few years ago. After a 2 week wait I called them back to find out what was up. They scrambled some of the numbers on my credit card and could not properly bill the order. They waited for me to call them to straighten it out. The parts were OK, but the service seemed a bit odd.
