I would like to know where the proper mounting spot is for these mirrors? Someone told me that they mount below the body line at the top of the door. This would mean that I would have to close the orig. holes and make new ones?? I have seen some mounted on cars that the head of the mirror is not level this can't be correct! :confused:

the correct ones (if you can find them) mount in the factory holes, the ones your describing sound like the ones used on 2nd gen camaros that mount on the side of door?
