Ok, getting ready to repaint the front stabilizer bar. While I was cleaning it I noted black paint underneath the dirt and rust, however it could have been painted at one point. The links I know will stay natural but the bar - what should it be? Black or natural?

So far I have done the center link and tie rods in natural.

I beleive the correct is natural. I went with a nice cast iron gray on most of my suspension parts, and it looks great. Just keep the threads clean on those tie-rods (Use some anti-seize) for when you need to get an alignment.

For detailing purposes the bar should be painted with gloss black to match the rest of the suspension. The mounting links, should be left natural color! Info out of chevelle ss resto guide.

I bought a new one right from GM a few years ago, it came through in semi gloss black.
