Hi guys. The 67 Elky has a great looking paint job from the out side until you get a load of the paint around all the fasteners under the hood and hard ware surrounding the tail gate. There is much rust and chipping and brittle paint in those areas detracting from a otherwise nice view. What should i do be for it is to late?
Thats, Greg.

I hope you have some left over paint. If not see if you can get some to match.
to freshen you detail the inside area's.
Hood, door, Trunk area, These are areas that can be masked off and reshot with reletive ease. As for fasteners you can repaint or get a front end fasteners kit.
When you re install the new fasteners any one with out a washer. ( I get clear plastic washers) to go under the sholder to prevent paint chiping.
caution, when you remove the front end fender/body bolts. do one at a time and replace immediately with a none sholdered/washered bolt. You don't want to re-aligine all the body panels. It can be a real PITA.
