I am having my frame media blasted next week and I was wondering if anyone can tell me what I can paint the frame with that is durable, I planed an a satin black finish but I think regular paint will flake off over time
Thanks

Either "POR 15" or "Rust Encapsulator."
Check eBay for both.
Either one can be thinned to, I believe, 20%. Then it can be coated with regular rattle can paint in any color you want.

I used POR15 on my frame (69 Malibu Conv) as per the advice of several TCers. It brushes on easily and a little goes a long way. I am sure other members will offer the same advice.

sense your going through the trouble of media blasting use DP90 EPOXY primer and a top coat.
i assume this will be a fare weather car and elements aren't going to get past a quality paint!
if its a winter beater use the por15.
