I have all these icons in the bottom right tray. I think I want to remove them from the start up menu. My system boots up slow and I think this is the problem. How do I do that without losing the program?

click on run --type in msconfig-- click the startup tab-- uncheck the programs you don't want to start up-- click on ok --and --apply-- reboot and your set.

Freshayr....what programs are you talking about? A lot of times you can just go into your "Startup" folder and remove the items you don't want to start when you log on to Windows. A lot of programs like AOL, MS Office, Adobe and so on will place a .exe file in there when you install the program. I agree that MSConfig will do the same thing but you can easily get in WAY over your head using it. Try deleting the stuff in your "Startup" folder first.
