Hello everyone. I am calling on anyone in the Raleigh/Durham, N.C. area who can help me with my resto. I have a 70 Velle that I have had someone locally begin the body work for me. Unfortunately this person lacks to passion, time and vision necessary to finish the job. I am at the point where I am going no where really fast. He is a really good guy but too damn slow. Is there anyone locally you guys would recommend I check into to take my resto to the next level. I would really prefer someone who is non-commercial. A backyard garage is ok with me as long as he is good and cares about his work. Mechanically I am fine....I just need someone to do the body work necessary to get this thing on the road. Jay, I live in Durham as well. Whereabouts are you located?
I can get a name for you, a fellow in my car club had his '95 Z28 painted Electron Metallic Blue (the new Z06 color) by a 'non-commercial' private guy around here who is very reasonably priced. I've seen the car up close, and it is an EXCELLENT paint job.
