The car is about 1 month away from being done so I have not seen it out side in the daylight but the picture was taken I a lighted garage in the daytime it also had a couple of large windows letting in the light.

I am not seeing any picture or a red x. Perhaps you could just post the url to where the pic is located... I have been considering buying the dak. digi. gauges and would really like to see the pics. You could also email the pic to me at billconn@gmail.com

Looks great, I also browsed your "showroom" as well. Looks like the project is coming along very well.
Got any details on everything you have been doing?
I really want to go w/ the Dakota digital gauges but the guy that is doing our wiring is stronly suggesting against the Dakota unit. He is saying that he has seen a high failure rate in the gauges and that its not worth the expense if 2 months down the road you have to pull the dash apart and send the cluster in for warrenty repair. This guy doesnt have any reason to lie to us about the Dakota Digi. quality... however, I havent read anything online about them being unreliable. IN addition if a product has a repuation for being unreliable, I cant imagine that the company would last very long, and Dakota Digital has been around for a while

My project is a 72 Malibu with new front fenders new hood ,the rest of the body was in good shape. We shaved the door handles and locks painted it 2003 KIA Ruby Red Metalic. I can't beleive I used KIA paint but I liked it alot. The drivetrain concists of a chevy perfomance parts 350 Ram Jet, bowtie overdrives 2004r and chevy 12 bolt with 3.73:1 gears and an eaton posi unit. The frame has been powder coated the front suspention is all new moog parts with rubber bushings, KYB gas shocks, and Hotchkis sway bar. The brakes up front are new stock replacement power disk brakes. The rear suspention is Hotchkis upper and lower control arms and large sway bar. KYB gas shocks and new moog coil springs. The rear brakes are stock repacement disk brakes from OPGI. I have a stainless steel gas tank made by Ricks hot rod shop in ElPaso. Up front I have a Billet Specialties Tru Trac Serpentine belt accessory system, with powwer steering pump and AC compressor. The radiator is a Be Cool unit with duel elictric fans. My interior is all new from OPGI including the SS dash with Dakota Digital gauges. Thats it so far , we started this project Oct. 15th 2005 and hope to finish Feb 1 2006. I am ready to have the car done, Iwant to put about 250,000 miles on it when all is said and done.
