A PPG rep informed me awhile back that the Global Radiance Candy colors are simply D895 midcoat clear tinted with House Of Kolor dye. House of Kolor candy concentrate is available at very economical prices and can be added to DBU500, DBC500, and D895 to make your own Candy. Simply choosed a highly reflective base color-silver, gold, copper-etc. then apply the midcoat clear candy over it then clear. It works great, easy to spray unlike the House Of Kolor catalyzed candy. And is a very economical way to go. You mix the products yourself and come up with your own formula/ratio and strength. It works great. graemlins/beers.gif

Is this something I could do for my stripes ? Spray my entire hood Cortez Silver, then the candy for the stripes, then silver, then clear over all ?
Sounds like it may make the stripe painting easier or am I way off base here ?
Thanks for the tip. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
I'm really trying to make this hood look "KILLER" as opposed to "run of the mill" or "same 'ol, same 'ol"
