: Hood Insulation Panels....

Not sure which forum to post this on so will try this one to begin with.

Got the five insulation panels that go on the underneath side of the hood. Trying to figure out how the darned things fit in there. Are they supposed to be trimmed to fit? Or are there clips that mount on the underside of the hood around the holes to hold these in place? Surely they are not supposed to be glued around the holes they are supposed to fit in, are they?

I am pretty sure this is a replacement cowl hood and not the original that came with the car. Would that make a difference? Are the insulation panels a "one size fits all" type application?

From what I've seen, grab a can of black latex caulk and a caulking gun... big gobs of monkey snot holds them up, on thier back side.
