You can replace it. Open your trunk and get on your back and look up in there. You will see the flanges where it's welded together. Pull the back window and also the trunk weather strip and you will see the rest of the welds. BigBlock71 Jan 28th, 03, 3:48 AM Thanks guys for all your help, i just am trying to cut some corners, i dont have much time to get the car done and i need to have the stripes redone. If that piece was removable, i could take my new hood, trunk and that piece to the shop for the paint. Instead i am going to have to send the whole car.
