Have a question about the driver side window when the door is closed the window seems to stick about 1/4 inch out so its very easy to stick a small screw driver into there and pop up the lock. The window has a good amount of play in it so I am able to push it inwards and have it meet with the rear quarter window to make a tight squeeze. Would there be a certian screw that needs to be tightened to fix this problem or could it be the whole window regulator needs to be replaced? or any other suggestions on the problem?

Ill post some pictures to make it alittle bit easier to see what the problem is.

You will need to pull the door panel to adjust your window. From the looks of it your out side window "fuzzy" is completely worn down and there is a good chance that your window adjustments are in the right place (unless someones been in there and set them wrong), but the nylon rollers have worn out. Anyhow, when you pull the panel you will see the rear vertical track has top and bottom adjustments. You loosen the 7/16" nut while holding the threaded stud with a screw driver. Turn the stud with the screw driver and watch the window top move in or out depending on which way your turning. You may need to get new rollers (cheap) and replace your shot ones to get the window feeling like new again.

adjustment procedure is in Body manual which you do have? when you work on vintage cars, you need vintage manuals.
