Ok now that 90% of the car has been removed (one way or the other) I am down to the rear wheel housings and have a few questions for you experienced body guru's!!!

The wheelhousings seem to be an anchor point for the roof line supports and the quarter panel supports. Do I need to support these areas somehow before wheel house removal? or will it be OK to remove the housings without support?

What is the (Easiest and Best) method for removing these peices?

I'm currently only planning on replacing the outer wheel housings however, after closer inspection it seems that removal and installation of both outer and inner would be the best way to do it. Someone tell me if I am right with this method?!?!?

I am guessing removal of the whole inner/outer assembly (as per recommendation above) and installing an assembled and spot welded inner/outer assembly in place would be the easiest way to do it. Any tips tricks or recommendations you could provide would be extremely helpful!

I'm not a body man but the guy who did my car was. After he removed the quarters he removed only the outer wheelhouse as the inner was solid. I would think it would be more difficult to get in to remove and then reattach the inner wells and make it look factory. If they don't need to be removed I would say leave them. Of course for me, my motto is "keep it simple stupid!" (I'm the stupid I'm refering to, not you.) Sometimes less is more.

Thanks Jeff.. Don't worry about offending me.. I get pretty stupid sometimes too http://www.chevelles.com/forum/wink.gif seems to me (now that I have a birds eye view) that it would be easier to remove and install both sections at the same time.. my main question revolves around the supports.. Did your guy use anything to keep them steady? or did he let them hang loose? Also if anyone else has a reply it would be appreciated for all my previous questions.
