What would the difficulty rating be to switch my bench seat in my 1971 Chevelle SS clone to buckets along with a Console and horseshoe shifter. Right now it is column shift but i was thinking about buying a kit from The Paddock parts. Will i have to change anything in the car or will they just bolt right up??

Well, difficulty depends on whether you can weld or not. First you need to do something about that column shifter, next you need the 4 piece bucket seat mounts to weld to the floor. Next the rear console bracket welded to the floor, drill a hole in the correct place for the shifter cable, and a few more drilled holes for the screws for the console + running the wiring for the newly located neutral safety switch and console bulbs and courtesy light. Location of correct placement can be done by looking at an assembly manual for 68-72 model chevelles or by doing a search here on TC. This topic has been discussed to death here, so locating a good thread should not be too difficult. Good luck JN

Welding is the toughest. If you or a buddy can weld it, its fairly straight forward. As 136679ss said, there is a ton of info on this site to guide you through it. If you need a pic of the installed brackets, let me know, I'll email you one.

I have some really good pdf's that are from some old magazine articles on this subject (pics, measurements, etc.). I'll be glad to send them to you. Just let me know if you're interested.
