Do I need to remove the EDP coating on all the replacement panel's I'm installing, or can I just leave it alone, or do I need to scuff it and apply a coat of DP? Talking about the inside of the 1/4's and the trunk side of the wheel well's, the plan is too have the underside and the trunk finished with LINE-X. The people down at LINE-X said all they need to apply their product is a good primer base. So, will EDP hold the test of time, or do I need to do something else? Dave.

all you need to do is scuff it.

That's what I was hoping for. I figure that since it is electronically applied at the factory, it should stick well, seem's pretty durable. Thank's, Dave.

I think that all manufacturers EDP coat their cars before final paint. The electrically charged bodies go through big dip tanks to get the job done.

Tets it with a rag and some thinner. If the thinner softens the "EDP" then it's not real EDP and should be removed. If the thinner does not soften it, it is real EDP and can be scuffed or lrft alone inside 1/4's.I usually coat the insides with epoxy anyway.
