I'm not sure what the proper name for it is but it is a fairly new Chrysler colour. How do you guys think it would look on a 65 Malibu? I want something a bit different from what everyone else has. I think it would look pretty good. For you experts, would this colour be any harder to spray than others? Thanks alot. I value your guys opinions.

Mike, I was just looking for that color on a Chrysler web site. Looks like they call that Prowler Orange! I didn't see that color offered with other Chrysler models.
It has a nice, subtle way about it, and would look great on any Chevelle.

Any orange, burnt or otherwise, looks good on a Chevelle http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Restore it or customize it, but drive it and enjoy it!

Doug, What is the paint code on your car? I've been leaning towards a blue for mine, but after checking out yours, I'm now convinced that this is the color for me. Thanks, Dennis

Thanks deejay
That picture is the closest to the real color-it's hard to get to look correct.
I found a new chrysler and parked next to it tonight. The new chrylser color is very similar, but darker/more rust color than the Chevelle color, still close. Mine is color code 62 from 1971.
Mike:
Some one in St. Louis has a '66 in that color. Check http://www.gatewaychevelles.com/
and/or email Greg Martin, I saw it in one of the past newsletters. That may give you an idea of what your car will look like in that color.
