Can I measure with a caliper and use some conversion formula? I am working on a 69 Chevelle 18gauge I have heard, a 53 Chevy P/U 16guage? and a 02 Camry 22gauge? :confused:

Thanks Smitty I just printed it! ;) I knew it was out there but I didn't know that there were so many gauges! 4 guage is 1/4 inch and 50 guage wow is that rynolds rap? ;)

The Toyota may be 22, but did you know that the outer panels (at least the quarters, that is all I have measured) on a Lexus LS430 is 18! Yep, good old 18 gauge, It blew me away.
