Someone told me about them, so I called a place called Late Great Chevy's, and they said their's wouldn't fit a chevelle grill. Is this true, or is there someplace else to get them that will work? On my '67 I use a long punch and peen the factory style rivets, takes time and be careful not to scratch the grill,tiebar or filler panel. I have done this 3 times now with excellent results. From the top, they look just like a factory type rivet. On the bottom, they have a small nut. Sure beats pounding in the original type! I don't think I would have had a grill left by the time I got half of them in. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/eek.gif And as an added bonus, I can easily and quickly remove my grill for polishing purposed if I want. Unless your a die hard down to nuts and bolts restorer, I highly recommend using these. They don't list them as being for a Chevelle that I know of.
