I own a 68 concours coupe I need any info about production,why different name,interior,badging,etc. I have been told it was a strike issue but there is no one to back it. Need Help! thanks, Craig

There was a strike in 68. Not sure how long or even where exactly.
I think that all of the Concours models have either Buick Skylark or Oldsmobile Cutlass upholstery. It was called upgraded interior.
Many other Chevelles built in April or May got either the Buick or Olds interior. Due to the strike. My 68 SS has Buick upholstery. It was built April 26 or so of 68.
The interior change on my car is stated on the trim tag on the cowl. It lists TR 766-178. The 766 is code for black vinyl bucket seats. The 178 is the code Buick uses for black vinyl buckets.
