Hows it going guys, im a newbie with a 1978 chevy malibu, hope you guys let me hang here but I couldnt find a 65 chevelle in my price range $0.50 lol. Anyway I have a rust hole around 3-4" under my rear window in the center in the rear filler panel (I believe thats what its called)I removed the window and took a grinder to the whole filler panel, previous owner used lots of bondo to cover more rust. What are the three brackets for welded to the filler panel,1 center of window,1 pass,and 1 d-side. Those brackets are bondoed in now, can I remove them. I need to find the filler panel and weld it in or does anyone have any suggestions how to reform the deck so the window will seal properly. Thanks in advance.
