: How to replace floor pan brace

This among other things will have to be replaced when the time comes. This is the brace that goes underneath the floorpans and also has a body bushing on each end. How do you separate this from the pans? My floor pans need replacing too, what would be taken out first? I looked at it and it looks a tricky for a novice. Thanks!

Shawn read my reply that I wrote to almac tells how to do the floor replacement. But thing I will add is you have to raise the body off the frame as there is no way that you can replace those braces with it sitting on the frame. To remove them locate the spot welds from the top of the floor look like small circles in the metal. Buy yourself a spot weld remover bit and drill out those spot welds, also there is about 4 spot welds on the underside of the car where the braces meet the inner rocker panel.
