I am trying to copy a audio cd with cda files. The 20 files total 1hr 20min
The cd I have is an original. When I try to record it says the disc I'm copying to is to small. It is a 700mb 80min disc. I have ripped the cd to my hard drive and now have wma files. Any suggestions please.
Thanks Jon

convert to mp3 and burn it that way?
i guess that would only work for you if you have an mp3 player..
otherwise, divide it into 2 cd's and make it a "box set".

Or, rip it to your hard drive at a slower bit rate. Bit rate determines file size ... higher bit rate = larger files, slower bit rate = smaller files. I think the "standard" bit rate is 128 bps.
I have a related question ... yesterday, I ripped a couple of CD's to MP3, using Windows Media Player (9.0). Today, I have ripped another one twice, but can only get it to rip as WMA files. I want MP3's. Any ideas?

Try a disc to disc copy.
Also, make sure you have the 2 sec space between songs disabled ( disregard if you do disc to disc copy)
