Hello..I am replacing the rear window-trunk panel on my 66 chevelle. When the rusty panel was taken off and under the panel there was two pieces of some type of cloth that served as some type of vibration absorber. I will appreciate some comments on this cloth. I haven't found it in my catalogs.

It's a heavy cloth type material that seems to be soaked in a black tar residue. Not sure they make it as a reproduction. I was able to clean mine up and reuse it. I was going to use some rubberized tool chest drawer liner material - probably doubled - as a replacement for this anti-vibration piece.
Drawer liner material I'm talking about can be found at Sears.com - or OSH, ACE, Home Depot, Lowe's etc...
