Not mine, but it's what I want mine to look like, except for the wheels! (I have the correct 71-72 SS wheels)

Is it just me or does this Chevelle have no idea what year it is? It has the 72 turn signals but it has a 71 grille.

Not only does it not know what year it wants to be (notice it has a '64-'71 rearview mirror...in '72 they were black due to federal regulations), but it doesn't know if it wants to be an SS or Malibu (malibu rocker trim).

Cool car though! graemlins/thumbsup.gif

It's actually advertised as a 72 on Traderonline at the current time. But I did notice the 71 grille and the code 67 bronze paint. This is my ultimate goal, and it was the closest I could find to what I want mine to be when it's done. I searched both Ebay and Traderonline for a car this color so I could save the image!!

Randy, how did you post a picture without going to a web site? I have a car part that I would like to post a picture of to see if anyone could identify it. I do not have a web site to place the picture in.
By the way, bronze does look good on the chevelle body style graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Thanks for the help,

MRN

Thanks for the help,

MRN First, you have go to the website and save the image by right clicking on it and saving it to your hard drive. I have a folder just for pictures. To post an image here, I use the member's showroom, upload the picture to the showroom, and then post it here with the image tags yourpicturejpg but no spaces between words or letters

Well, I have a "confused" car also. I bought mine with the grille and the turn bezels/signals already in the car. I didn't realize it when I bought it, for one, the car was totally apart, and when I joined here as a member is when I found that my "front end" was from a 72. It's a good looking car regardless if it's not original or not. Maybe the guy just likes the look of the 72 bezels. Me personally, I don't, but I just haven't gotten around to getting the correct bezels or grille, may not get a new grille, 'cuz I like the grille in my car now. As far as the rocker panel molding, I like that too and I just put my molding on this past week. It makes the car shine a little more now and after I get my Pro Stars on, all the chrome will make it stand out even more than the 72 front end. :D
Take care graemlins/thumbsup.gif

You might go to Traderonline and try a search to see if the seller has it listed.
