well looks like i goofed. i took the rear glass out of my 67 for repairs and thought it was flat. Well it has a slight bow to it and now i dont know if the bow goes in or out. Can someone help me out here? Thanks Dave

Man, I thought it was flat too. If no one answers, I'll take a straight edge to mine and let you know which way it bows. If I had to guess, I would say it bows out. Since it's not an educated guess, it doesn't mean much. graemlins/clonk.gif

Dave. My 66 rear glass is flat. I am real sure of this. Would a 67 one be different? I have never read that before!

maybe its a 4door-they're curved- just a thought as we dont know what model car. however my SS is flat

i layed a 4' carpenters level acroos it. there is a 1/2 bow in it. the rear window trim seems to indicat that the bow goes in.

I took mine out a few weeks ago, and made note that the marking is legible from the outside of the car. I can't remember if the marking was a date code or safety label. It appeared to me that the glass was flat - that's why I looked at the marking.

I dunno...
I just stuck a straight edge across the window from my '67 which is out of the car...it's flat. If I lay the glass down on an uneven surface, it takes on a slight bow...maybe up to 1/4 inch in the middle, but that's about it.

i think thats what i did was measure with out it laying on a flat surface. when i redid it i seems like it pretty flat laying completely supported. thanks guys
