: NOS Wheel Well Trim

I just took my NOS '70 wheel well trim down off the shelf and out of the packages for the first time since buying them over 12 years ago.

They are still look great except for a couple of slightly flattened spots. I have put pressure on them with my fingers to try and lift them back into shape, but it kills my fingers. I tried lining them up on the fenders and pushing to see if they would spread back out their original shape, but since the fenders are off the car I couldn't get a good push.

My question is what is the best way to get them back into shape and avoid accidental damage? My guess is by somehow using the car fenders that I'll be putting them or maybe there's a magic homemade tool of some sort that I could slide along the back to put gradual pressure on them safely.

Thanks in advance!

Order a set of repops. There as mallable as heavy aluminum foil. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Then, send them non-conforming NOS pieces to me and I'll make sure they never bother you again http://www.chevelles.com/forum/wink.gif
