Can anybody tell which steering wheel I should have based on my build sheet? I see box 69, strg whl, says AB.

I would 'guess' a standard steering wheel since the sheet doesn't list NK1 CUSH RIM S/WHL
I checked numerous other plants' sheets I have along with Van Nuys and the two that appear most are coded AB and KA. The two codes don't seem to be dependant on trans type, tilt column or not, nor P/S or not but possibly a console equipped car (D55) might be the difference. Two Van Nuys KA coded cars are bench seat and one AB coded has a console - like yours.
Found another couple of oddities. Baltimore, Van Nuys, & Flint are consistent with KA being not console equipped and AB with console while Atlanta seems to be reversed, KA coded cars has a console and AB coded cars do not.
Kansas City seems to be the only plant with different coding for block 69; the samples I have show KS and Black - no KA or AB.
