Anybody have a problem w/this stuff? I can't seem to keep it out of my mouth (and lovehandles per wife). There's still multiple unopened boxes under the tree that I've been staring at.

I don't have that staring problem, I already ate all the chocolate that was under the tree :D. I need more now...

Loved and over ate it for most of my life. 14 years ago developed an allergic reaction to it and haven't had any since. Docs said intolerence developed over time, related to other allergies that started around the same time. So, eat all you can while you are young!

MmMmMm...dark chocolate. When the holiday's first started, I began eating all the chocalate I could get my hands on. A week later I stepped on the scale and noticed that I had gained almost 10 lbs. Since my New Years reloultion was to lose 60 lbs, I had to get down to 220-222 by Jan 1, so I started my diet again. THis ones hard because of all the chocolate in the house.

And for anyone that wants to eat more chocolate. I was in 7-11 the other day and they have a 5lb Hershey Bar. It was HUGE!

I remember reading a short story in high school about a food critic (like a restaraunt judge or some such thing) who was so picky he actually starved to death because he couldn't (wouldn't) eat anything...

best when formed into little dollops and mixed with dough and baked into little discs, then eaten by the handful with milk. Usually I don't even bother to use a glass, or a plate. Just eat em off the cookie sheet and drink out of the carton (when the wife isn't looking of course).

Of course, when you take the chocolate and break it in to BIG chunks, and make some chocolate ice cream and mix the two together with some chocolate syrup and then smother the whole mix in chocolate chip cookies, that's a close second....

My favorite chocolate is usually a hershey's plain while smoking a nice cigar. I don't know why, but both seem to have a more enhanced flavor.

I also crave chocolate after going to the chinese buffet.

Ditto! That, and chocolate truffles filled with expresso or mocha or any coffee flavoring. Starbucks has a candy bar that's a blend of dark chocolate and expresso coffee flavor that puts all other chocolate to shame.

Also, give this a try. Get a Three Muskateers bar and any ordinary beer. Take a bite of the candy bar and chase with a swallow of beer. No kiddin' guys, it makes them both taste better.

Did you know there's a chocolate flavored beer out there? For the life of me, I can't think of the name right now. But I've seen it in places like World Market.

I am another dark choco junky, after it is gone from the box I ignore it. The problem is I usually eat all the darks in one evening.:)

This is a woman that can drink Hershey's chocolate syrup right out of the bottle. Eats Nestle morsels straight from the bag.

She's managed to control her weight though, so more power to her.
