I had my pass. side 1/4 panel stripped and what I had suspected to be a rust hole that was poorly patched turns out to be a dent that was filled with mud (1/2" deep). The door jam area appears to be creased but not enough to affect the space between to panel and door. Can this be repaired or reformed other than being mudded?

the dent can be worked out to where it is very close with minimal plastic in it. it just takes time and patience. the best way to do this is when it is very close, prime it then use a product that is called easyfill, it goes on thin and sticks to sanded paint or primer. this will guarentee max. rust protection.
