my heads call for autolite 3924's, now their performance version of this plug is hte ar3924 which has a shortened tip and a few other changes, the only problem is that the cheapest place you can get them is from autolite direction for 3.46 a piece. Are they really worth the 2 dollars each over the normal 3924's??

Do you have to run a autolite?? You could take your #s to a auto parts store and have them cross check the #s to a different plug with the same heat range and so on and maybe get it cheaper!

In my opinion you are fine with the $1 plugs & for your application you will see no difference between the two plugs.
I find no difference what so ever between the 3924 & the Champion RC12YC which is the same thing either.
I run the standard plugs in limited circle track stuff & see nothing on the dyno or the track except the price.
