I'm about to buy some of Wheel Vintique's SS 396 rims for my '70 Chevelle. I'm not sure what size I need. I want 15x10 in the rear, but I don't know what I need up front. They come in 15x7 and 15x8. I would appreciate any help.
Zach.

Either size will fit. My preference would be the 15x8's but that's just me.
More importantly,what is your preference?

What is the difference? I don't really have a preference. What are the pros and cons to both?

to me 8" up front looks goofy. I`d go 7`s max or even 6`s for a big n little look. Just my .02 though.

I bought the same rims for my 70 earlier this year. I put 15 x 7's up front and 15 x 8's in the back. The 8's will look kinda goofy up front, especially with the gap between the center of the wheel and the edge of the trim ring.

I think I'm going to go with the 7s up front. Nice car blue SS, is that Fathom blue?
