Anybody have a good idea how to enlarge the posts that you screw the nuts on that hold the taillights extensions into the body with? Mine have been worn down/stripped over the years and I haven't been able to think of a good way to enlarge them so that the nuts will once again work on them.

If the nuts are the self threading speed nut type, get some new nuts. They'll probably work fine on your worn studs.

Ahh That explains it. The ones that it had on it were large flange machine type nuts. Perfect example of question everything that the prior owners have done.
