Anybody have any experiences GOOD and BAD with UP22.com Unlimited Products. I was considering using them for my daily driver 65 El Camino. However I don't want to fork out $600 for something I haven't seen or heard about. Can I keep my inner fenderwells without too much work?? Please post a followup or email Coolcamino357@cox.net

The Unlimited Products is not a good quality hood. I had one and it was thin and didn't fit well on any the edges, and very wavy. Wrong curvature or too short front to back. The underside frame was just a perimeter type with one side-to-side middle brace. Blocksanded the hod four times and it still wasn't perfect. It also doesn't have the mounting pad for the stock hood latch, you have to pin it down. I forgot my locks one time, now I don't have this hood anymore.
Glasstek makes a excellent quality hood. Good thickness and two blockings made it look perfect. All contours fit great. The underside frame looks identical to a metal hood and it has the mounting pad for the stock hood latch.
If your going to buy one, get the Glasstek piece. Mine cost $410 shipped to my door. Their number is (630)978-9897, they're located in IL.
