I am looking a buying a 71 skylark that is too far gone to bring back reasonably. First if I cut off the top of the windshield frame off as a section piece, is it the same as a 68-72 Chevelle ? Also what else could I use as Chevelle parts? Especially the convertible specific parts. Thanks in advance for any info.

All the convertible specific parts are the same, only the power top switch looks different. You can take the whole top, power top parts, wiring, quarter window glass, visors, etc.
