Im looking for feedback about the Doug Thorley headers, mostly ground clearance on the 69 chevelle. I bought a set of these ceramic coated 1 7/8and they installed with great ease and appear much stronger than other headers what with a 3/8 flange and 14 ga. tube steel. However speed bumbs are now something I try to avoid. Any suggestions about gaining ride height for more clearance?

Stiffer/taller front springs, taller front tires,aluminum heads and intake, lose weight :D
