My buddy just had his motor dynoed this afternoon, I just got off the phone with him. it is a 565" BBC AFR 335 Fully CNC'd heads, 12.5:1 with a 278 282 .760 lift solid roller at 740 ft lbs at 4500, 760 at 5300 (Peak) and 700+ from 4000 to 6700 RPM with 868 peak HP at 6800. The builder/dyno operator says the impressive low and mid lift numbers his heads have is what the long flat torque band is all about. AFR recommended the Cam. These initial numbers and the combo is not fine tuned yet (on the dyno anyway)

I am going back to the dyno with him on Monday to do some more pulls and do some tests with spacers and other carbs... :)

It will be neat to see what it runs with the big power. Got any info. on weight, gears, tires and converter? The street crowd here is getting tougher and tougher. The guy who was #8 at the first Pump Gas Drags has a new motor for his '69 Camaro. Its a 632 with Brodix 1803 Heads (18 degree) and is reported to have run a 9.08 @ 150 on the motor. I heard it has 12.5-1 compression so i don't know if it's pump gas compatible or not.

tried a 1050 dominator...going to try an 1195 King Demon RS and a 1350 Dominator next week. Intake is a Dart single plane.

Camaro is a 4 link car with a Dana 60 rear.
