I've posted in restoration, but haven't gotten any responses. I'm trying to see if anyone has any tricks or ideas on how to paint the center of the 65 SS wheelcover. The issue is the SS logo. The letters are very small and I have tried to mask off the top of the SS and around the letters, since it is chrome. My objective is to re-paint the red of the SS logo. Any ideas or suggestions is appreciated. Thanks. :confused:

I repaint emblems by thinning the paint down and putting a drop in the emblem recess where the paint is supposed to be. It usually flows out and fills in the area. I don't know if your SS's are recessed or not but if they are, this will work.
