The body shop doing my restoration didn't want to score my newly chromed rear bumper before applying the SS bumper pad. Instead, he glued it on with 3M 5200, a super-strong marine adhesive, and left it clamped overnight. Has anyone tried 5200? Any ideas on whether it will hold the pad on? After one week, so far, so good......
