Anybody have any tips on cleaning tail light lenses? Im trying to come up with a good way to get all the dirt and grime out of the creases and crevices. Also, Is there a way to make the plastic brighter, and take away some of the dull look?

If they're not too far gone (crazed & brittle), spary a little Simple Green on 'em and work around with a toothbrush. Rinse, and apply some Mothers' Plastic Polish, which will remove the oxidation and get our shiny red (or clear) color back.

Top rack of the dishwasher?

I dont have a dishwasher at my house, but mom does, Hmmmm....

I ended up soaking them in Simple Green and water for about two days. NOT COOL! It turned some parts of the plastic white. BEWARE!

There's a product put out by "Meguires" wax. It's a two step plastic cleaner and polish. Works great. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
