Just a short question, hope someone knows: what is the (max) preasure in the brake lines when applying the brake pedal?? Reason for questioning is that I want to order some stainless steel pipe from a local steel center (and bend them my self) but they want to know the preasure to determine the thickness...
Thanks in advance!!

I'd say 20Mpa (200bar, or 2900psi) is enough with a good margin of safety.

On my race car I have gauges, I have to use all my might but I can see 1500 psi, though typical braking is done in the 500-700 range. If possible I would double that to 3000 psi for safety on the street and over time.
