I just sent my car off to the body shop. I was worried about who to trust my baby with, so I did some asking around. Most people said if money was no object, Jerry Tomecek of Tomecek Designs in Fairhope, Alabama, was the place to send it. Is anyone familiar with him?

good luck, did they say how long it was going to take. I started mine in February and I hope I'm done by August. The link at the bottom of my signature will show the progress we are making to date. I originally was not going to go with a full frame off restoration but things led to other things and decided to go for it.

I told him I was going to make the Nashville show in June and he said that was no problem. I still have alot of things to do to it before I go, so I hope he finishes it pretty quick.

Big Bird will remain yellow. The color is a 93' Ford Probe Yellow. Yeah I know a ford color on the old chevy......kindof an oxymoron. This is the current color that is on it. I just felt the paint job could have been a little smoother. This guy is supposed to be the best around......We'll see. Lord knows I'll have to eat a lot of mac and cheese for a while to pay for it.
