Anyone know what a stock 71 Chevelle BB turbo 4oo car weighs. I bougt a g-tech meter and it needs my cars weight

About 3700 to 3900lbs.

To get closer than that your best bet is a scale.
I weighed mine at a coal truck scale, and at a landscape place.
3650 both places, but mine is a 4 speed 68. Figure an automatic is heavier.
Air Conditioning, iron intakes, etc. alot of variables.

Haven't gotten around to weighing the 72 yet.

Don't forget your own weight amount of fuel yada yada.

My El Camino with me and a 1/2 tank of fuel wieghed 4178 lbs at the track scale last month. That is with a small block, auto, fiberglass bed cover and AC. The 178 lbs was me, which is what really slowed the car down ;)

My 70 with me in it and a full tank of gas weighs 4080 pounds. I am 175 of that weight.

I know a scale is the way to go (and I will soon) I just wanted to "ballpark" the weight to learn how to use this meter and see how it works

I got the figure for mine from 2 different scales. One is at a local recylcing center that sells stone/crushed conrete/topsoil/etc, the second one was at Raceway Park in Englishtown, both gave me the same number.
