: Flame_up jac Dec 20th, 05, 1:10 PM Started Chevelle with a Holley 650 without choke ,flame came up through Carb and then car started.Someone metioned because the temp outside was only 28 degreees and choke was not closed this would cause flame-up.ANY THOUGHTS al carson Dec 20th, 05, 8:23 PM When the choke is not insatalled and people push on the gas pedal-you will get a flame-up.
