Hi,
I am ready to begin the body work on my 65 chevelle. I read a post last night and i reamember user "Redrum" saying he was attending a 12 week class at a local technical school. I was wondering if anyone knows about a class like this in NJ or just what the class is like? My father knows how to do everything i need to do on the car but i think it would be fun for him to go anyway and see what he can learn from it. I on the other hand don`t know much about body working seeing as I am only 15, so i think it would be fun to go toghether. Thanks for any imput you have.

There's most likely a vocational/technical school near you. Ask a guidance counselor @ school. That's what they're there for!
I took Auto body in high school in Vo-Tech. 1/2 day for two years. I just hated school and wanted to work on cars, so it was good for me! I chose not to make a living doing body work, but it has been a very valuable asset when you're into cars. I think you have a great idea there. Go for it!

Thanks Jimmy,
I know once a sophmore i will be aloud to go to vo-tech. I don`t know 100% what they offer but i am more looking for a night or after school class. I don`t plan on making a career off it but like you said it is VERY valuable when you are into cars and are a "Do it yourselfer" Thanks again.

Scott, they should have night classes for adults.. I don't see why you and your dad couldn't sign up... Just get the info from your school counselor and contact them on your own!!!
