I just picked up a drivers side remote mirrior for a paltry $20. Unfortunately my car has mirrors on both sides so I need a mate for the other side. Ive been told these are hard to find because not many cars came equiped with them. And that chevelle models were unique because of the flat bottom mounting.
Are there any other GM models that I could be looking at for a passenger side bullet style mirror that will fit and be correct?

Dont quote me on this but I believe that the mirrors from 68-69 olds are the same. I bought a pair for my 70, just think they look better, the guy told me they where removed from his cutlass. I test fitted them and they fit fine...Eric

Are you all talking about the chrome mirrors or the bullet style that are painted the color of the car.
Its the painted style that I need.

The mirrors (Sport or Bullet) that you are referring to on Monte Carlo, Olds, and GTO's used the same top, but the base is a different angle than the chevelle's. I reworked a 76 Grand Prix right side mirror base to match my orginal driver side Sport mirror on my 72. I have a extra complete unpainted right side sport mirror for a 71-72 chevelle.I still need to make the gasket for underneath. E-mail me if you are interested.
